At Azm, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.

Data stored locally on your device only:

• Timer settings (focus duration, break duration)
• Task list and notes
• Session history and statistics
• Achievements and challenges
• Language and theme preferences
• Username and profile photo (optional)

Data requested temporarily and not stored:

• Approximate geographic location — used solely to calculate prayer times via the Aladhan API. Not sent to any other party and not stored on any server.

3. How We Use Data

• Display prayer times based on your location
• Send local notifications (prayer reminders, focus sessions)
• Display personal productivity statistics

All data remains on your device and is never transmitted to any external server.

4. Permissions Required

• Location: To accurately calculate prayer times. You can deny this permission and use default Makkah prayer times.
• Notifications: To alert you about prayer times and focus sessions. Can be disabled in Settings.
• Photo Library: Only when selecting a profile photo. Photos are never accessed without your explicit permission.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not share any personal data with any third party. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising tools.

6. External Services

The app uses the Aladhan API (aladhan.com) to calculate prayer times. Only approximate location coordinates are sent for this purpose. Please refer to Aladhan's privacy policy on their website.

7. Data Security

All your data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. There is no external database and no user accounts. Deleting the app permanently deletes all data.

8. Children's Privacy

The app is suitable for all ages and does not intentionally collect personal data from children.

9. Your Rights

• You can delete all your data from within the app (Settings → Reset App)
• You can deny any permission without affecting core functionality
• You can delete the app at any time and all data will be removed

10. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
